Back to the Cretaceous Period #1

Back to the Cretaceous Period
Part 1
"Oh, I just can't wait for history class!" 12 year old Xena Kayne exclaimed.
"Ugh, get over it!" groaned her twin sister Zonda. It was lunch break at MacWood Middle school, and Zonda had spent most of the period trying to keep her long, layered brown hair out of her mouth. When Xena wasn't going on about how excited she was for history, she was doing the same. This was a typical lunch time for the twins.
The hair-cutter-o-matic had assured us that our new styles would stay out of our faces. As if! thought Zonda.
"That haircut was a rip-off," Xena complained as if reading Zonda's mind. The girls giggled as they strolled down the tunnels of the school. Their grins quickly faded when they stepped into the history classroom. Ms. Cadly wouldn't like them to be talking!

WRITING RULES

Hello, I am Alary Atalya. I am a young writer, and my age, if shown, may or may not be accurate. I have started this blog because I feel that every author needs a blog. I will share some of my writing, some more every week. I am currently editing a short story I wrote called Back to the Cretaceous Period. I love writing, especially short stories and poems. You see, I do not have the patience to sit down and write  a novel. Well, that doesn't really happen, but you know what I mean. I have little patience, and will give up on my writing if it gets too long. I am the kind of person who likes things quick and easy. Can't wait for you to read my stories! Please, if you post, do not use swear words or crude words. Thank you!!! And I wouldn't mind critiquing! Don't be RUDE, but you don't need to be SUPER KIND!
